CORRECT: Rosneft IFRS net profit jumps to 309 bln rbl in January–June

MOSCOW, Aug 7 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian oil major Rosneft attributable to shareholders more than quadrupled on the year to 309 billion rubles in January–June from 75 billion rubles in the same period of 2017, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report on Tuesday.

Sales revenue and income from associated and joint ventures grew 34.8% on the year to 3.787 trillion rubles in the period.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) soared 48.7% to 950 billion rubles.

Free cash flow of the company doubled on the year to 363 billion rubles in the period. Capital expenditures grew 11.1% to 452 billion rubles.
